- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I was initially excited to see Dr. Brown but it quickly turned disappointing in his treatment of me. I have thyroid issues and my thyroid was radiated and I was on medication. It appeared to me that I was gaining weight and when I inquired about it Dr. Brown became irate and said to me that perhaps I should push my plate away and that would help me with my weight. I do understand that perhaps he is right but the situation is so much more than that and I was appalled that this was my doctor's comment to be regarding my condition. I left and have never gone back, recently my thyroid numbers are coming back normal and my new docs are trying to figure out how my thyroid could be normal since I am not on any medication.
